I've read this novel when I was in senior high school, that was my summer vacation homework. I didn't finish it on that time, because my english was poor which made me feel reading that book was more like a torture. It's more like a looking up dictionary job. However, last year I found this story will be brought to the big screen, so I reread this book again. This novel is still not easy as I remembered, which means that my english is as bad as a couple of years ago. But I tried to read through the whole story, this time I did it. This is really a story for children if comparing with Harry Potter, and it makes me wonder how can it appeal to audience besides it is the J.K. Rollings' favorite author's work. After watching this movie, I was really enjoyed in it. They really make this story vivid not only imagination in my mind. The beautiful scenery of NZ and the advanced animation technology also give this movie vigor. I like the girl who played Lucy, although I didn't love her on the first sight. Her eyes can talk, and she really knows how to act.

Comparing with Harry Potter, I enjoy Narnia more. I was very disappointed with the latest movie of Harry Potter. Is it because I didn't expect on Narnia? Or is it much easier to shot a simple story than a complex one?
